Instructions For Use
Comfort Tip: Use lip balm while wearing your device.
Connected Device:
Inserting the Upper Plate: Hold the upper and lower plates together and gently mount the upper plate to your teeth. Press up on the plate with both thumbs to ensure that it fits securely and comfortably. Inserting the lower plate Once the upper plate is securely in place, insert the lower plate onto your teeth. Press down on both sides of the plate using your index fingers to ensure it fits comfortably.
Removal: Always remove the lower plate first. Using your thumbs on both sides, gently pull the lower plate in an upward motion to remove. Using both your index -fingers and thumbs, gently pull the upper plate down and forward to remove.
Non-Connected Device:
Inserting the Upper Plate: Place the upper device in your mouth. Press up on the device with both thumbs to ensure that it fits securely and comfortably.
Inserting the Lower Plate: Place the lower device in your mouth. Press down on both sides of the device using your index fingers to ensure it fits comfortably. Engaging the wings. Once the upper and lower devices are securely in position, bring your lower jaw slightly forward to allow the ‘wings‘ to engage. Slowly close your mouth until your lips lightly touch each other (may not always create lip seal).
Removal: Always remove the lower device first. Using your thumbs on both sides, gently pull the lower device in an upwards motion to remove. Using both your index fingers and thumbs, gently pull the upper device down and forwards to remove.

Cleaning
Always clean your device with a soft toothbrush and non-abrasive soap immediately after having removed it from your mouth. Always brush your teeth thoroughly before use.
- Never use hot water, hot water damages your device and will invalidate the warranty.
- Never soak your device in the cleaner as it can cause delamination.
- After having removed the device from the storage case, thoroughly brush it with a toothbrush and rinse it under cool running water.
- Dry all parts of the device and storage case carefully and thoroughly using a clean towel.
- When not in use, the device should be stored in your Sleep Well storage case.
What to Expect
It is NORMAL to experience some discomfort as you adjust to sleeping with your new device over the next 30 days.
You may experience some temporary side effects, such as sore jaw joints, increased salivation, dry mouth, sore teeth, irritation of soft tissues in the mouth and/or a slight change in your bite. These possible side effects should diminish within an hour of removing the device each morning. If any of these side effects continue for more than 2 weeks, contact us immediately.

As you adapt to the comfort of your device, we will schedule an appointment within 60 days for another home sleep study. This will allow us to monitor your progress and ensure your treatment is working as expected.
